DALLAS, TX — A Denton crash that involved a pickup truck and a fire engine has closed a stretch of Interstate Hwy 35E. The crash, which occurred slightly after 5 am, forced closure in the vicinity of Texas 288 and Mayhill Road. According to the Denton Fire Department, the pickup driver is in serious condition, and had to be extracted from the vehicle, which was heavily damaged. No other injuries were reported.
