We are an Event Design Firm based in Denver with 18 years in the events industry looking for Event Crew Members for loading and unloading trucks, setting/striking lighting, decor, AV, drapery, props, lounges, and potentially helping with design on site as well. This is a direct-hire position with great opportunities for advancement to Captain and/or long term employment. The position is primarily part-time with opportunity for full time hours based on event schedules, thus it is perfect for someone who is positive and motivated to make some extra income while teaming with a young, vibrant company. Schedules are flexible and are based on needs of events. We offer a standard hourly rate starting at $16 with a potential higher rate available dependent on experience, skill set, work ethic, and commitment level. An Event Crew Member MUST: -Follow event procedures and direction provided by Amora Group Management and Captain -Be a good teammate -Possess a “whatever it takes” attitude and “MacGyver”-like instincts -Have flexibility (Availability to work nights and weekends) -Be reliable, respectful, and positive -Be a Tetris Master (Know how to pack a truck with use of straps) -Have good communication skills (Includes having a cell phone and email) -Get from point A to point B (Have transportation with a valid driver license) -Be intuitive and mindful while moving, loading and handling inventory -Have confidence driving 16'-26' box trucks. Training provided -Hold a sense of urgency for established timelines -Lift furniture and objects of 50-80lbs (Or ask for a teammate’s help) In addition, knowledge of the following skills would be a major plus: Lighting (Up lights, dimmer packs, market lighting, etc.) A/V (Corporate meeting room set up i.e. projectors, screens, speakers, wireless microphones, etc.) Drapery (Pipe and drape, ceiling/tent draping) We are looking to fill out our staff NOW!
