ILLINOIS — Take a look through this set of images from across Illinois. We're expecting many great opportunities for readers to get some memorable photographs this summer throughout the state. To have your photo featured on Patch, send it to Eric DeGrechie at [email protected]. We just ask that you make sure the photo you send is one you have taken personally, and allow Patch to use on all platforms. Include your name for credit and a brief description of the photo, including where it was taken. Christine Carrington, of Naperville, sent in this photo she captured of a white-banded crab spider. She took the photo at the College of Dupage Ecological Study Area and said, "This is a female, and her camouflage is impeccable!" Michele Andrews, of North Aurora, took this photo of "Lakota Fire" in her front flowerbed. She said it's in memory of her "sweet Golden furbaby, Lakota." LAST WEEK: Flower Power, Playful Deer And Garden Reflection Margaret Redmond, of Evanston, shot this photo of "a path with a view," from Montrose Harbor in Chicago. Dennis Hennessy sent in this photo of a hawk he took at his house in Crystal Lake. Thank you all for the beautiful photo submissions!
