PHOENIX, AZ — The Arizona Department of Health reported Friday that the state passed 1 million cases of COVID-19 and 18,724 deaths since the start of the pandemic. Just on Friday the state added 3,707 cases and 63 deaths to its totals. Today's #COVID19 dashboard update adds 3,707 cases and 63 deaths. With these additional cases, Arizona has passed 1 million reported COVID-19 cases with over 18,000 deaths. More than 7 million vaccine doses have been given in Arizona and 55 percent of the state's population has been fully vaccinated, according to the department of health.
