Do you enjoy working with animals? Do you love to stay busy? Anchorage Animal Care & Control is looking to expand the Kennel Technician team and wants to hear from YOU! Our Kennel Technicians provide general care, cleaning, and feeding of animals housed at Anchorage Animal Care and Control (AACC), as well as help to maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the kennel department and the shelter facility. The Kennel Tech team also assists customers with animal adoptions, relinquishments, and claims. Requirements are: - Minimum age of 18 - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English - Legally authorized to work in the United States - Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug test and physical/fit for duty exam We are ESPECIALLY looking for those with: - Animal Handling experience - Customer Service experience - Commercial housekeeping or janitorial experience We have full time and part time positions available.
