Found cat near Tuslaw schools. Not sure of the breed but I'm confident he was someone's pet. He was in pretty bad shape - seriously malnurished and I believe he'd been attacked by another animal within the last few weeks. His wounds have healed and scarred, except one scabbed area. I haven't had time to take him to check for microchip but plan to as soon as I can. He's eating and drinking but not very well because he seems to have a dental disease or something. I really don't know anything about cats but I do know vets aren't cheap. I have an appt to have him checked by the vet next week but I can't/won't pay hundreds of dollars to treat an animal that doesn't belong to me. He's a beautiful grey and silver coat with some beige -ish areas that show through. His hair appears short-er but it also looks like it's falling out due to malnutrition. I have no idea how old but probably at least like 2 y/o or more. He a very sweet little guy. I think he may be at least partially Maine Coon or similar breed. He occasionally makes noises almost like a chirping/tick and another noise that I find difficult to describe lol. Please text me if you know where he belongs or with any info that may be helpful!
