Job details Salary: $18 - $20 an hour FRIDAY NIGHTS IN LIVERMORE SATURDAYS 9am-12PM in ATHERTON SUNDAYS in OAKLAND Job Type: Contract Number of hires for this role: 6 Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) SUMMARY The Flag Football referee responsibilities are to referee youth games and scrimmages, assist players with rules and skills and to communicate with coaches as necessary. HOURS/SCHEDULE This is a seasonal part-time position from September - November. Games are held on Saturday and or Sunday mornings and afternoons. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Training is provided Interpret and enforce all flag football rules and adaptations. Supervise and control conduct on field. Provide quality customer service. Be ready to work at scheduled times. Dress and act in a manner that is professional. Examine playing field and equipment to ensure safety. Cooperatively work in a team with other officials and supervisor. Attend all game dates. Communicate with Field Manager in a timely manner regarding inability to make scheduled. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 15 years of age. Must have knowledge about the sport of football. Must have strong leadership skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must be able to lift 20lbs, bend, stretch, crouch, stand, sit, reach, kneel, run and carry. WORK ENVIRONMENT The primary work environment is outside. Weather and temperatures may vary.
