We are a spiritual non-profit organization in Northeast Los Angeles, seeking a Gardener. The selected candidate will perform tasks and responsibilities associated with the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the gardens and grounds at our Mount Washington location. This is a regular full-time position. The requirements for this opportunity are as follows: - Experience in horticulture and gardening. - Experience operating power tools and equipment. - Experience installing and repairing irrigation systems. - Experience with plant materials, and the ability to identify concerns as they arise. - Ability to work both independently, and under general supervision. - Ability to remain on task until projects are completed. - Ability to work in cooperation with other employees as group projects require. - Ability to function efficiently and independently when required. - Ability to prune small and medium sized shrubs.
