POSITION SUMMARY Griffith Rubber Mills, a leader in manufacturing for over 100 years, has immediate full-time openings in our Eugene rubber molding plant for parts trimmers and press operators. SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Able to follow directions, both written and verbal • Resourceful problem-solver with demonstrated ability to follow through on assigned tasks • Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout shift • Ability to read a tape measure • Forklift experience helpful but not required • Attention to detail a must DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY • Follow schedule from production manager • Coordinate material needed for assigned job • Perform and document inspections • Maintain a clean work area • Monitor equipment and report mechanical problems • Report quality issues EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS • Highly motivated • Upbeat, professional attitude • Dependable team player with flexibility to take on additional duties or projects as assigned • High School diploma or equivalent BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance • Paid personal time and sick leave • 401k • $15.00 - $16.00 dependent on experience and position assigned COMPANY CULTURE • Manufacturing plant • Fast pace Resumes accepted from qualified applicants.
