The Taliban is nothing new

More people have been tortured and killed in the name of God than any other reason although an argument could easily be made that religion has always been all about money and so all of it was in the name of money. From the Israelites committing genocide on tribe after tribe in the Bible and claiming "God made us do it" to the Crusades to the Spanish Inquisition, people have been hijacking God's name to justify murdering people they don't like. The Taliban and southern traitors known as confederates both claim God was on their side. Funny that God got his sorry ass kicked pretty badly by the Union Army and confederate scum claim to this day God is their savior. And God had to become a terrorist in Afghanistan for a long time because he wasn't powerful enough to eject the US military.
