Classic Rock Band Forming

Looking to form a classic rock band, from the ground up. Focus would be on 60's-80's classic and southern rock. Not looking to play country, hair metal, or anything of that nature, just straight ahead rock & roll that has stood the test of time. Ideally, the band would be made up of "empty nester's" or retirees in their 50's & 60's with lots of time on their hands and some kick left. Goal would be 1 or 2 gigs a month (more or less).
