Black Moor Goldfish Size Lg

Description

I have a black moor goldfish that I need to rehome. He is about 2.5-3 years old, and measures approximately 5 inches long including caudal fins (black moors typically live between 6-10 years and if given the space, they can grow to be 10+ inches). I am fairly certain he is male because he was showing some tubercles earlier this year, but I am not an expert. I need to rehome him because my new apartment has a restriction on tanks over 30 gallons, and that is too small for him. He would be happiest in a tank that is at least 50 gallons or more, or in an outdoor pond setting. He is very active and fun to watch, and he gives my fingers "kisses" when I am feeding or moving things around in the tank. He has been in a community tank for the last 2 years, with neon tetras, Siamese algae eaters, a small juvenile ancistrus, and multiple African dwarf frogs—I have never had a problem with him trying to eat smaller fish, etc. He eats Fluval brand tropical fish flakes, and also enjoys steamed spinach and peas. He has a very nice temperament and would be a wonderful addition to any large community or solo tank where he will have lots of space to swim and grow. He also loves live plants and enjoys burrowing himself into them when he sleeps. I am asking $10 for rehoming. I will have him prepared for travel to his new home in a pet-safe aquatic fish bag (like the ones you get at a fish store), so that it will be easy to acclimate him to his new tank. You just have to come pick him up. If interested, please text: 5 two zero 3 five one 9 four 1 nine, or send an email. Thank you!
