Ellie is looking for her forever home. She has been in foster care for about a month and is doing well. Ellie is 10 years old what I call a winner dog. She weighs about 7 pounds. Even though she is a lightweight don’t let that fool you she LOVEs to eat. I am looking for a family that feels that their animals are part of their family. I can’t imagine what it is like to live with a family for 10 years and then kicked to the curb. Ellie is real easy going and gets along with other dogs. If you want your family member to sit in your lap Ellie is the one for you. She loves to be held like a baby and given tummy rubs and you to speak baby talk to her. At bedtime, she likes to share your bed and to hide under the blankets. Ellie needs to eat soft food only. The Humane Society when Ellie was brought in had her undergo surgery for the removal all of her teeth and also had to remove her lower jaw. Aug 31st Ellie has an appointment to recheck her surgery site. Also, she will be getting spaded at that time. I would like to do a foster to adopter meeting so that Ellie does not have to return to the Humane Society. Ellis’ adoption fee is $135.00.
