Zuri was adopted to be a companion to my older mother who just passed away, next we are moving from a house to an apartment. Having a pet is a big responsibility for us and limits our rental opportunities. About Zuri: Zuri was adopted from PetSmart rehoming program for pets. She is now about 5 years old; it was estimated that Zuri was no more than 2 years old when she came to live with us. Zuri’s demeanor: She has been an indoor cat, although we allowed her to search and play in our walled in backyard. She is fully trained to potty indoor in her cat box as well as outside. We supervised her initial visits to the patio and never once went outside of the perimeter. We stopped having her go out for fear of Covid 19, for the past year she has been an indoor cat only, she is a happy cat all the time. Zuri is a very quiet girl, occasionally she will do a crazy run then comes back to me for love and affection, loves to nudge and most of all lays next to us for belly rubs, belly rubs and gentle petting are her favorite thing. Medical stats: Zuri is a medium size American short hair cat in perfect health, her vaccines are all up to date, will be receiving booster shots next week. If you are looking for a loving quiet cat to keep you company, she will be the best to have. We don’t know if she gets along with other pets but given her demeanor, we anticipate she will be ok with another cat friend. Finally, Zuri does not shed and if she does is a few hairs after grooming herself. She has been with us for close to 3 years and only once there was a small hair ball incident, nothing major due to the minimal shedding. We hope and anticipate re homing Zuri to be company to an older mom or dad looking for a quiet loving friend. Note: Zuri likes to sit and pose for pictures, we are not sure why she does but we think that in her prior home she was posing for an artist or photographer. Thanks for reading
