Description
I have a 10 month old cuban knight anole that needs a new home. I would like to handle him more but I have 2 cats that are waiting for me to make a mistake. They are constantly watching him. I had to wrap his tank in an aquarium background wallpaper and put double sided sticky tape on top of his enclosure so the anole could relax without hungry eyes watching his every move. He has never had an issue with eating, he is now on large crickets and medium dubias on occasion. Including his tail, he is 6-7 inches long.
I think he would be much happier somewhere that he can occasionally roam, can be handled without fear of being eaten. He is getting bigger, and now is the time to handle and train him. I just can't with these cats of mine. I am looking for a $50 rehoming fee for the anole only. His enclosure is going to end up having acouple fish in it probably.
If you have to ask how to care for him, this is not a suitable animal for you. Please do not inquire about "Mikey" unless you are prepared to give him a good life. (he is named after Michelangelo because he likes to hang upside down on his lid like Michelangelo kind of did when he painted the Sistine chapel.)
