Small established construction company looking for a team player to fill the position of Drillers Assistant. Seeking a hard-working motivated individual to assist the water well driller and work as part of a two-person team to complete water well installations. Plumbing, irrigation, electrical, welding, well drilling, mechanics, or construction experience all a plus. CDL license Class A or B, preferred. Sick pay, Vacation pay, Holiday pay, IRA with matching. ** Position can be physically demanding at times which includes heavy lifting and occasionally digging trenches. MUST be able to work OUTSIDE in the heat and able to lift 100lbs. General Responsibilities: - Load appropriate drilling equipment and supplies onto trucks each morning. - Drive medium duty trucks daily and pull trailers as needed. - Perform duties assigned by rig foreman during drilling operations. - Assemble and install pumps / well equipment. - Follow proper safety procedures and use proper safety equipment. - Properly care for and maintain company vehicles and equipment. - Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties in field or shop as directed by supervisors. Requirements: - Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. - Background check required. - Must be willing to work some overtime. - Must be able to work outside in the heat and able to lift 100lbs. - Positive attitude and hard-working. - Non-smoking workplace. *We Are an Equal Opportunity Employer*
