If you have had the misfortune of living in the elements its the most humiliating experience you could live through. It saddens me to see so many American who had a tough break wind up out there...todays world requires internet, a phone, address etc to be employed. These people dont have a chance unless someone takes them in. What makes me SICK is millions of illegas thanks to US have roofs....eat, medical etc. Yet our own citizens are out in the cold. Its up to US to help fix it, the gub isnt going to send a rescue to team to go help them. Literally anything you may not have a use for someone out there could use. So if they want booze over food so be it if that takes their pain away fora few hours. No need for a speech. We can improve our own town just by being a little more friendly it costs nothing to give a smile and hand over an old pair of shoes...we can do this. If you have had to live like that this post should hit home. Ive fallen terminally ill and am less than a step away from the street...and feel so fortunate to eat and sleep in a bed. Excercise caution and all but still... The aggressive hustlers/dope fiends I avoid like the plauge...but the elderly...it would make thier day.
