America is a free country. If carrying a weapon offers you some false sense of security and perpetuates the fantasy that you live in, fine. If a side arm helps you compensate for other shortcomings, it is your right to carry. Just remember:
The odds of a child getting their hands on your weapon and killing themself or other is 5x more likely than the odds of you needing it to defend yourself.
The odds of a burglar or gang member stealing that weapon from. you and using it to commit violent crimes are much higher than the odds that you will ever need it to defend yourself.
Men who feel "small" buy big vehicles.
Men who feel unheard buy loud motorcycles.
Men who feel vulnerable buy handguns.
