Small professional investment services firm seeks part-time front office & personal assistant for business owner. This is a newly created position that is in person, part-time, flexible and ideal for someone who: - has a high level professional skill set and looking to work a bit while children are in school - perhaps someone without above but well versed in social media marketing who is professional and mature, particularly with appearance - A junior or senior majoring in business seeking resume building office experience - Perhaps is experienced with a financial planning or investment office, i.e. branch office or RIA firm - Investment sales professional looking to be a helper versus sales person About me: One of the most credentialed financial planning & investment professionals in the area, I have an absolutely clean Form ADV, never a customer complaint in 20 plus years. I'm professional, forthright, demanding of a high level of ethics and character and very easy to get along and work with. About the position: -Answer incoming calls taking copious notes concerning details in determining needs of customer or prospect. Screen calls and ditch telemarketers. Adhere to privacy policies and practices. Will train if this is new to you. The Basics: -Scan documents -Handle errands, such as depositing rent checks, post office runs as needed. -Potentially handle social media marketing for several endeavors, investment business/fitness & wellness (I'm also a yoga instructor)/Botox/Injectables practice that my wife runs part-time -Open & sort mail, organize bills, forward to bookkeeper -Keep office neat and tidy, helping to organize systems The next tier: Ideal for an accomplished professional looking to return to an office environment, you would potentially work client database to identify clients needing contact and review appointments, updated investment statements and surveys, data queries including running investment reports and helping prepare for client meetings. If you have Quickbook skills you could assist with data entry and interact with my offsite bookkeeper. Similarly, ideal for finance student, running reports and queries to look for highly concentrated or highly appreciated positions. For the student interested in PR/Marketing, focus on building IG brand of the associated businesses. The ideal candidate: Self-starter. Calm, poised, confident and respectful. Professional acumen and patient. Avoids conflict, positive attitude and a high level of enthusiasm. COVID Safety: I am fully vaccinated. Work areas are separate from each other and the HVAC system has a heating/cooling unit in each separate room so air is not exchanged. We are adding highly efficient air purifiers. Very few clients actually visit the office. One or two new client meetings each week, in which we crack all windows open for extra airflow and potential safety.
