If you cannot measure with a tape measure, please do not apply. We are a manufacturer of framed artwork, located in Paterson, NJ. We have an immediate opening for a full-time position in our framing area. We are a small family business with 10+ employees. We have been in business for 50 years, and sell our framed artwork to hotels, hospitals and corporate offices. On the job training will be available for any individual hired that has not had previous experience in a picture frame shop. Responsibilities: o Travel with RAO installation team within the US (typically 1-week every other month) o Cut wood moulding o Cut metal moulding o Join wood moulding o Place glass into frames o Place artwork into frames o Add paper backing to frame o Add hanging hardware to frame o Wrap artwork in protective foam o Pack artwork in crates and track which artwork has been packed Requirements (must have) o Proof of COVID-19 vaccination o State issued photo ID (driver’s license) or passport o Ability to get to work on time o Excellent attendance o English speaking o Ability to stand for extended periods of time o Attention to detail o Ability to measure in inches and fractions of an inch o Safe working habits around power tools Shop Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30a - 4:30p Friday 7:30a - 1:30p Please reply back with resume and/or list of most recent experiences.
