Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver

Restaurant Equipment World is seeking a happy, fun and intelligent person for a full time position in our warehouse. We are an established restaurant equipment company (45 years in business). Duties include (but are not limited to): Drive delivery truck (Isuzu box truck), load/unload trucks and shipping containers, pull orders for jobs, stage jobs, crate shipments, create shipping labels and bill of ladings, check in items, load purchases into customer vehicles. Skills: Must be computer literate, must be able to operate a forklift, must be able to drive a box truck Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license with less than 7 points in the last few years, must be able to pass a full background check (no criminal history), must be able to lift 50 pounds (we utilize pallet jacks, high lifts, etc to aid in transporting heavy items), must speak English fluently. Some of your time will be spent at our location on Forsyth Road in Orlando. However, you will also be helping with deliveries around Central Florida as well as some within a few hours drive. We deliver jobs as far north as Jacksonville and as far south as Miami. Regular hours are 8:30-5:30, M-F. There may occasionally be deliveries before 8:30 am or after 5:30 pm so a flexible schedule is a must. You'll be paid overtime (time and a half) for any hours you work over 40 per week. Our warehouse is not air conditioned so you must be adaptable to temperatures (hot in the summer, cool in the winter). We have AC/heat in other parts of the building so you are able to cool off/warm up. There are fans in the warehouse to circulate the air.
