Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and coordinate all building-related activities. The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, playground, and parking lot in good, safe condition. Responsibilities include: • Maintain and repair the building and grounds in excellent condition, with safety being the highest priority. • Schedule, manage and supervise personnel who are working on the building and grounds. • Arrange for required inspections: fire dept., building dept., and fire extinguishers, as well as any others that become required • Plan and implement a preventive maintenance program on building, grounds and equipment; maintain adequate levels of janitorial and maintenance supplies; keep records and prepare reports as needed • Monitor fire safety equipment and conduct monthly evacuation drills • Participate in building projects as directed by supervisor. • Perform related work as required Requirements: • 21 years of age • High school diploma • Minimum of two years of experience • MA Driver’s license Preferred requirements: • In-depth knowledge of safety procedures, building codes, construction methods, and project management • MA Construction Supervisor License • Associate's degree Benefits: • Paid breaks • High quality medical and dental insurance • Long and short-term disability insurance, life insurance • 401k Plan • 12 paid holidays • Generous paid vacation and sick/personal time Arlington Heights Nursery School is a non-profit early childhood program serving children from two months to six years.
