Since forming in 2013, they have developed their Indie Surf sound, founded upon rhythm-driven composition, lush guitar melodies, and vibrant vocals. Offering an airy alternative, Dry Reef has completed 5 major tours since 2018 covering 60 cities as far as Miami, Denver, and Austin, TX. BEACH FUZZ Beach Fuzz was formed in the summer of 2017. After a couple long months of writing and recording, they released their first single, “Moving” to Soundcloud. After two more singles titled, “I Think I’m Falling Her” and “In the Clouds,” their self titled EP (Artwork done by Haley Aronow) was finally released on July 17th, 2018. Since released, Beach Fuzz have played numerous shows around Philadelphia and the surrounding area. Their EP has since been released on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, all other major streaming services. In the summer of 2019, they released their first full length album, “Casual Encounters” on all streaming platforms. In accordance with Philadelphia's citywide mandate, attendees will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination for entry to all Johnny Brenda's events. Please note that negative PCR / antigen test results will not be accepted. We ask that you bring your vaccination card, a copy of your vaccination card, or a legible photo of your vaccination card on your phone. Full vaccination must be completed at least 14 days prior to the date of the event. If you are unable or unwilling to provide proof of vaccination, we will refund your tickets in full. All Johnny Brenda's events will be presented in accordance with city & state guidelines and requirements as of the date of the event, which could include changes to capacity, attendance prerequisites, procedures, and other protective measures. Rooted in the rock/reggae sound that put them on the map, the young group incorporates inflections of indie-surf rock and electronic post-rock forming a refreshing, organic sound you cannot ignore. These 23-year-olds are rapidly evolving from dreamers to decision-leaders in the industry. With the 2018 release of their "Alright Revival EP" the band portrays their rapid growth in performing, creating, and exploring their sound throughout 2017, and the excitement is felt with every song.
