Experience some of the best cask-conditioned beer that the Pacific Northwest has to offer! $20 tickets come with a 20oz Away Days branded mug and two pours. Cask-conditioned beer, traditionally ale, is a long-standing tradition in English brewing that takes an extra amount of care from the brewer and cellar person. The beer is racked into the cask unpasteurized and unfiltered to further condition. After the beer has fully matured it is served utilizing gravity or a hand pump at a slightly warmer temperature and lower carbonation than typical draft beer. This presentation creates a soft, full-flavored, living expression of a beer that will be unique from cask to cask and even pint to pint. Away Days Brewing Co. is a SE Portland brewery, focused on creating the perfect combination of Pacific Northwest styles with English balance and European flair. The brewery’s selection of sessionable beers are paired with bar snacks inspired by travels around Europe. The modern and intimate Portland taproom has ten rotating taps as well as two cask engines.
