Any donation is appreciated and will be use to help expand… Allen Chapel AME Bridge Park Plot Volunteer Days Over the last several months, our team has partnered with engineering students and professionals of the DMV through Engineers Without Borders, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to enhance the accessibility of our Allen Chapel AME Bridge Park Plot. Their designs are complete and it's time to BUILD working to ensure safe access for wheelchairs and walkers throughout the space, improve irrigation infrastructure, as well as engineer raised beds for those with limited mobility. Join us to help make their plans a reality! Breakfast and lunch will be provided. REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Date(s): Saturday, August 28; 9:00 am - 2 pm Saturday, September 4; 9:00 am - 2 pm Location: Allen Chapel AME McKinley Crudup Outreach Center. 2439 Ainger Place SE; Washington DC *Max # of volunteers on each Saturday: 12 FACE MASKS REQUIRED! The construction will include adding garden beds and a ramp making the garden accessible.
