A Fashion Show to support Women transitioning out of prison as returning citizens. Dignity and Grace is founded on supporting women in transition. Returning Citizens from prison life are the number 1 priority for our mission. By providing essentials at discharge and a follow up program for mentors, counseling and assistance with employment programs, Dignity and Grace does just that.... Provides a level of Dignity while a woman transitions to society and offers her Grace in the learning curve. Our 5 programs are supported through this fundraiser: 1) Dignity in Grace, essentials provided at transition 2) The Yellow Cup Program, mentors for returning citizens 3) The Closet, provides appropriate clothing for women to wear while in prison or on work release 4) The Referral provides assistance in finding mental health providers and groups 5) Employment Referrals, D&G is currently working to open a Boutique on Western to support women in transition having a livable wage and employment flexible to handle the requirements of probation.
