In honor of #NationalRecoveryMonth, we are hosting a series of Narcan trainings that are open to any & everyone!
According to CT Department of Public Health, there were 1,372 confirmed drug overdose deaths for 2020, with an increase of 14.3% compared to 2019. As of the middle of March 2021, there were 250 confirmed drug overdose deaths for 2021 with 255 pending cases."
Getting Narcan trained is an easy way to prevent someone from losing their life to an opioid overdose. What better way to learn than to hold space with some cool folks and even cooler treats!
The trainings will be held on three separate days in various locations. See below for the schedule & follow this link (https://tinyurl.com/55f7rdj8) to sign-up so we can get a proper head count!
