Join your fellow WTS-DC members for an hour of outdoor relaxation, followed by networking. Equanimity means mental calmness, composure, and evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation. Christine Baker will lead a relaxed hour in Gateway Park to help attendees explore and understand equanimity. Bring comfortable clothes and a yoga mat or blanket to sit on. Water bottles and individually wrapped snacks will be provided. Ticket sales end August 30, 2021, at 5:00 PM. Attendance is at the attendee’s own risk and attendee assumes all risk of COVID exposure and COVID-related illnesses. We encourage attendees to follow all current CDC guidelines when attending this event. This is a members-only event. For 40 years, WTS-DC has provided opportunities for transportation professionals to connect with one another and grow in their careers. Our membership includes planners, engineers, landscape architects, policy makers, government leaders, outreach professionals, students, and others committed to promoting the WTS mission of “transforming the transportation industry through the advancement of women.”
