Pruning/Trimming Specialist

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of pruning and trimming experience with the ability to work independently and with a team. Have a positive attitude, learn quickly, follow instructions, and adhere to safety requirements. Duties/Responsibilities: • Use handsaws, pruning hooks, shears, and clippers to prune and manage the growth of trees and shrubs. • Trims, tops, and reshapes trees to remove low-hanging branches and to create more attractive shapes. • Removes dead and excess branches from trees. • Climbs trees or ladders to access work areas. • Maintains tools and equipment by cleaning, sharpening, and lubricating. • Loads and hauls away debris and trash. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: • Driver’s license, good driving record, and experience driving a pickup with a trailer. • Prolonged periods climbing and standing on ladders and raised platforms. • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods of time. • Must be able to push or pull up to 70 pounds. • Must be able to work in all types of weather and extreme temperatures.
