Description

We are looking for a service technician who can service marine fire fighting equipment and perform annual and 5 yearly inspection on lifesaving appliances for ships. Company is specialised on marine safety services such as fire fighting systems, liferaftts, lifeboats and calibration services. The ideal applicant will not need to be an experienced technician in this field rather than ready and desired for training.But we expect him to have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to spend the necessary time explaining issues to customers and helping them understand their service needs. Our company offers a intensive training for improvement. Responsibilities • Work with technical supervisor to obtain companys goals in terms of technical quality of provided services • Providing on-board inspection services for ships • Conduct marine safety equipment inspections in accordance with company technical procedures General and mechanic skills • High school diploma • 2+ years’ experience performing any technical-mechanical service • Familiarity with the basic mechanical tools • Must have a valid TWIC card • Willing to learn and desire for training
