TREASVRE is a band of five San Francisco Bay Area natives that blends elements of post-rock and shoegaze with rich synth textures, heavy guitar riffs, and electronic rhythms. Vocalists Samantha Peña and Sabrina Simonton create wistful harmonies that underscore the themes of nostalgia, melancholy, and hopefulness found in their lyrics. The drama and depth conveyed by the music creates a distinctly cinematic quality — one that captures the complex range of human emotion in beautiful and inspiring ways and begs to be experienced live. TREASVRE just released a powerful new single, “Storm” which tells the story of holding a loved one accountable. The first voice in the song revels in their own reckless dysfunction, lazily appealing to their partner to accept them, along with all their flaws. The second voice demands action, essentially saying, “look, you have to deal with your emotional baggage.” It’s a moving message about owning up to our toxic traits and being compelled to be better people by the ones we love. Tell Me Tell Me is a dance grunge band from Oakland. Yearning melodies soar over melted guitar riffs and driving, danceable drum beats. The music celebrates loss at points of no return, and Tell Me Tell Me leads the ceremony. Regarding their song “Before” The Bay Bridged writes "Full of vitality and honesty, the song elicits the type of nostalgia that stops you in your tracks on a busy street or breaks conversation with a group of friends." Influences can be heard from LCD Soundsystem, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Dirty Projectors, and while you’re never quite sure where their music is going to go, it always goes somewhere awesome. Ben Grant is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in Oakland, California. His songs combine indie rock textures and lush harmonies with an undercurrent of americana. His 2021 album, Householder a the End of Days, was recorded at home during the Covid lockdown, and plumbs the textures and anxieties of global, national, and personal dissolution. He was a member of the indie-pop band Pony Boy in the oughts. He released his debut solo EP, Soil and Gravity, in 2016. By day, he is a city planner, urban designer, and dad.
