The Story of Food Waste is a fascinating look through the eyes of famous chefs as they explore the problem of food waste around the world. See how their unique perspective inspires both incredible dishes and a more secure food system. Join us for a pre-show reception of zero waste food made by the Littleton Co-op and pick up some recipes to try on your own. Stick around after the film for a Q&A session with Tim Wennrich of Meadowstone Farm to talk about composting in our region and ways you can tackle reducing your food waste at home. The Colonial’s Wild Thing Series is created in partnership with Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust and highlights films about the natural world. This event is a collaboration of The Colonial Theatre, the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust, Littleton Food Co-op, and Meadowstone Farm. The Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust inspires and leads private, voluntary action to conserve the land the North Country loves. The Littleton Food Co-op is a community-owned marketplace that supports local and promotes healthy choices for people and the planet. The Colonial Theatre provides relevant arts and cultural programming to nurture the heritage and prosperity of the communities we serve. Meadowstone is a diverse farm in Bethlehem that believes that healthy, alive soil is the foundation of its growth. COVID-19 Protocol: To protect yourself and others masks are required as entering and moving around the theatre. When seated, masks may be removed to enjoy the show. The Colonial Theatre is the home of arts, film, music and culture in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
