Welcome to TEDxYouth@Fargo. Join us for "ideas worth spreading" on October 7th, 2021. For middle school and high school students, this youth event is focused on empowering them to become leaders amongst their peers. Leadership opportunities are not just for the individual standing in front of a crowd - leaders work to utilize their passions for a greater purpose. Strong individuals understand the importance of perservering through adversity, bouncing back after failure, and helping others in their community feel heard. About our Theme, Beyond: The world is different now - and that’s okay. At TEDxFargo Beyond, we want to explore the boundaries of our current view and look forward to what’s possible. We’re going to consider the impact and implications of the events over the past year and invite everyone to question, “what’s next?” This year, we’ll be welcoming back past speakers to give new talks, moving back to our historic venue, and challenging our community to seek new ways of thinking. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
