Hello there! I am a mother of one and seeking to offer a special family childcare in our home. A little about myself/our home- I am a mother of one two and a half year old son. He will be starting part-time pre school this fall, and I am looking to add some additional income to our household. I have a great passion for children, and mothering. It's something I take a lot of pride in. Additionally, I have experience caring for children in our home. Most recently last fall/winter. I practice attachment/responsive/RIE parenting philosophies. We are a no screen time household for our son. We spend a lot of time outside, keep a good rhythm throughout the day, and read a lot of books. We have a beautiful collection of Waldorf/Montessori wood toys we enjoy very much, and would love to share with your little one. We eat organic food in our home, and I cook a lot of things from scratch. I would be more than happy to provide breakfast/lunch/snacks for your child, with an additional cost that can be further discussed. Our home is located centrally in the Sunnyland neighborhood, and walking distance to multiple parks. What we are looking for- At this time I am only open to taking on one child in addition to our own, and would prefer the age range of 12 months-4 years. My availability is flexible, 9-5 Mon-Fri. Depending on childcare time, you would also need to be okay with me driving your child to pick up/drop off my son from pre school. Britax car seat would be provided. I'd also love to give our children a chance to play together before any final decisions are made. Additionally, I am open to a trial basis for your family. The most important thing to me is that BOTH children are happy and thriving together.
