Join your friends and colleagues at the North Texas Food Bank. We need 20 volunteers to help at the Distribution Center located in Plano. Join your friends and colleagues at the North Texas Food Bank. We need 20 volunteers to help at the Distribution Center located in Plano. Tasks include: help sort, bag and box food for hungry North Texans in a warehouse environment while working cooperatively with other volunteers and staff. Masks and closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteer may potentially be lifting 25-30 pound boxes. Registration is required and post registration liability waivers also required. register at ntx.ascm.org The North Texas ASCM Chapter serves the Dallas and surrounding communities by sponsoring monthly professional development meetings featuring guest speakers and proving and excellent opportunity for members and professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and network with industry experts. Additionally, the Chapter provides training for internationally recognized certifications (CPIM - Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, CSCP – Certified Supply Chain Professional, CLTD - Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution ) via the APICS body of knowledge.
