Shirey Enterprise Group (SEG) is a national leader in staffing and operational leadership for disaster recovery events. SEG is currently gearing up to assist with Hurricane Ida PositionsWe are currently looking for contractors who can fill the following roles during our recovery deployment events: General Yard Setup and Labor Security Flagging and Parking Control Transportation - minimum 3/4 ton pickup required for pulling equipment Logistics - our logistics group is most often based at our primary client headquarters in Apex, NC. They work with vendors to schedule delivers of materials including contractor staffing, food, fuel, ice, and equipment. This is a fast paced office environment where proficiency on computers is a must. Finance and Administration - finance and admin positions are both at headquarters and in the field. This group works to ensure that contractors hours and receipts are properly handled captured. Computer proficiency and attention to detail are critical for this position. Catering and Hospitality - these positions are in the field. Positions include food preparation and delivery, laundry and sanitation. Qualifications Ability to maintain a positive attitude even in tough conditions - we work very closely with our client and are committed to keeping an upbeat and positive environment, even when conditions are tough. Ability to pitch in and do whatever is asked of you - there are many different jobs that have to be done on these deployments. Adaptability and willingness to pitch in - no matter what the task - are critical to a successful mission. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Long pants - we know it may be hot, but long pants are a must. * Sleeved shirt - not necessarily long sleeves, but no cut-offs or tank tops. * Safety Vest * Steel/Composite Toed Shoes * Hard Hat An overall professional attitude and appearance. Because you are the face of SEG/RLI to our clients, we ask that you have an overall neat and clean appearance, attitude, and professional speech and behavior. It is important to note that this is not full-time work. Because we only work when disasters require our participation, there is no guarantee of work. When we do deploy, it is usually from one to five weeks at a time. Hours per day range from 12-16 so there is opportunity to make good money in a short time frame. For storm work, you must be able to commit to being away for a minimum of 7 days at a time. You need to be able to leave on 12-24hr. notice.
