Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront, 100 E. Constant Road, Suffolk Join the Nansemond River Garden Club on October 26, 2021 for a demonstration with floral designer, Annie Casale. She is a woman who always has her hands full, and usually with fresh flowers! For the past 15 of her 25 years in the floral business, Annie has been the owner and creative director of the Sag Harbor Florist in Sag Harbor, NY. She has developed a lush, garden-inspired design which has been recognized by various print publications including Veranda Magazine's 2019 March/April issue in which she was selected as one of the "Best Flower Shops in America." The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront and will begin at 9:30 AM with fabulous vendor shopping, coffee, and a cash bar. The demonstration will begin at 11:00 AM followed by lunch. Tickets are transferable but not refundable. However, tickets will be fully refunded if the event must be cancelled. NRGC is following all Covid-19 CDC and State of Virginia guidelines. All proceeds from this event will benefit local community projects sponsored by Nansemond River Garden Club. P.S. Ms. Casales will have for sale signed copies of "Flowers," the newest publication by renowned interior designer Charlotte Moss. Nansemond River Garden Club, a 501(c)3 organization, was established October, 1928 and has been a member of the Garden Club of Virginia since 1936.  In conjunction with the Garden Club of Virginia, our mission is to celebrate the beauty of the land, to conserve the gifts of nature and to challenge future generations to build on this heritage.
