Dining in the garden with plants, food and art that draw in the faculties – sight, smell, contact, taste, sound – offers you a much needed balance of stimulating and savory 4 course dining experience by personal chef Santiago Vargas. Santiago Vargas is from Lima, Peru..lived in Mexico. He is charismatic, energetic and passionate about cooking Nikkei. A combination of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine and the latest gastronomic sensation to hit Europe’s culinary capitals. Thanks to chef Santiago’s culinary passion, we have it here at Haiku I Do. Santiago knows that we eat with our eyes first. It’s demonstrated in his platting, and the hand selection of exclusive dinnerware. *The evenings dinner will be experienced from the clay works of ceramic artist Candice Hensley. she strives to make classics, elegant shapes that serve to elevate their everyday uses. Candice’s work centers around two of her most passionate loves: food and flowers, which is why her work is elegant framework of Santiago’s dishes. *Palatte complementing wine will be served out of hand blown glassware by glass artist Kathryn Adams. One of the few female glass artists, and she loves curating custom palettes showing off the glass and enhancing the environment it lives in. Highly known for her lighting and decorative elements, Kate’s work has clean lines and often uses a classic Venetian glass blowing technique. Hanging through the garden are the collage memories of Kate Chassner. Her exclusive mixed media pieces are about connection, lost memories, traces of human stories. Portraying moments of growth, her work reveals and overlapps stories that we all share, stories that have become blurred in the current space it occupies.
