Join Norman Bird Sanctuary and Common Fence Music for a live performance by Roanoke This summer concert series brings together two Aquidneck Island nonprofit organizations for a diverse lineup of outdoor performances at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. Celebrating Common Fence Music’s commitment to preserving folk music traditions, these concerts provide an opportunity to enjoy time outside in nature at the Norman Bird Sanctuary while listening to live music. Donations to the Summer Concert Series will support the Norman Bird Sanctuary and Common Fence Music. By adding a donation to your ticket fee, you join us in protecting and celebrating music traditions and natural habitats. Please visit each organization’s website to learn more about our respective missions and programs. Seating A folding chair within our general seating area will be reserved for each ticket purchased and location will be determined on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event. We are pleased to offer a variety of seating options for those who generously add a donation of a specific amount to their ticket fee. The Norman Bird Sanctuary and Common Fence Music are grateful for your donation of any amount. Seating options are limited and availability will be updated as reservations are made. While alcoholic beverages must be purchased on-site, guests are welcome to bring food to the event. Thank you for joining us. Ticket Pricing Individual General Admission Ticket: $35 Attendees who give $250 in addition to their individual ticket fee(s) will have the option of two sling-back chairs in our preferred seating area. Attendees who donate $600 in addition to their individual ticket fee(s) will have the option of one picnic table in our preferred seating area. Each picnic table accommodates up to six people and includes food and beverage vouchers. About the Venue The Norman Bird Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center. All guests are asked to respect the following guidelines: Smoking is strictly prohibited. Outside beverages and seating are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed. Ticketing Tickets must be purchased in advance. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges will be issued. Social Distancing All attendees will be required to socially distance from other household groups and the performers. Please leave at least 3 feet in between household groups. Staff will be on site to help enforce. Failure to comply will result in removal from the premises and refunds will not be issued. Masks are encouraged. Weather All concerts will be held rain or shine. Be prepared for extremes such as sunshine, heat, wind, or rain. Dress accordingly. Parking Please park in the main parking lot only. Refreshments A selection of beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. No outside beverages will be permitted. Disruptive and Improper Conduct Participants are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and to refrain from conduct and language that would be offensive and/or disruptive to performers or other event participants. Participants who violate these rules may be asked to leave. Smoking and Vaping Norman Bird Sanctuary is a non-smoking facility. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Thank you for your cooperation.
