CARPENTER & CONSTRUCTION LABORER FOR ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR (MARIN) General Engineering & Building contractor is seeking a concrete carpenter and a general construction laborer each with a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering construction. Both positions require experience with concrete formwork, drilled piers, retaining walls, concrete structures, and earthwork operations. Our work includes difficult and challenging engineering projects for public works agencies and for private clients. We offer excellent wages and benefits. Many projects are prevailing wage jobs. Most of the work is in Marin County with occasional work in southern Sonoma County. Minimum Requirements: • Must be a Marin County resident • Physically fit and energetic, capable of performing demanding work activities. • Possess a high level of integrity, honesty, trust, dependability, with a professional attitude & work ethic. • Aggressive, self-starter able to work with a minimum of supervision. • Ability to address multiple challenges and to prioritize work responsibilities. • Ability to communicate effectively Other Requirements: • Provide documentation and references for responsible experience • Clean DMV record, reliable pick-up truck and vehicle insurance. • Drug and alcohol testing may be required. • Legal U.S. citizenship absolutely required. • High school graduate with fluency in English. • Excavation equipment operation skills are also a plus.
