Thank you! --- POSITION OVERVIEW At Retrospekt, we restore vintage items to look and perform as well as they did in their prime for customers all around the world. Successful Refurb Techs will master numerous duties relating to the efficient testing, restoration, and packaging of these products, with the ultimate objective being to create retail-ready goods. These tasks include (but are not limited to): • Testing, cleaning, and packaging various vintage products to fulfill wholesale and online orders • Repairing various vintage products once proficient with other refurbishing tasks • Various preparatory tasks for the assembly of custom vintage Polaroid cameras (disassembly of cameras, cleaning internals, preparing small parts, painting camera parts, etc.) • Assembly of custom vintage Polaroid cameras • Quality checking peers’ work --- JOB SPECIFICATIONS Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent in order to be considered for this position. No particular level of job experience is required; we’re simply looking for positive, hard-working, and reliable people to join our team. All training related to the refurbishment of goods will be provided on the job. The ideal candidate for this position will have a curious spirit - someone who is eager to grow, ask questions, and learn new tasks. Being comfortable with hearing and applying constructive feedback is crucial. Since we are a small company that is always striving to grow and change for the better, we greatly value flexibility. Being self-motivated in this role is extremely important, as the nature of this position is rather independent once training has been completed. Most of our refurb-based tasks have set productivity standards that each team member independently works to achieve during their shifts. However, group projects do regularly arise (for example: assembling custom Polaroid cameras as a group assembly line), so being able to work as part of a team will also serve you well. Strong communicators with a penchant for crushing tight deadlines will thrive here. Anyone who is passionate about photography, music, or vintage items (bonus points for all three) will have plenty to talk about around the water cooler. If this description sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! --- HOURS AND BENEFITS Retrospekt’s operating hours for all staff members are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, with our workday ending at 4pm on Fridays.
