MAMA NEEDS A HOME TO AVOID BEING RETURNED TO A COLONY *UPDATE 8/25/21*. *UPDATE-8/25/21* Unfortunately, no adopter has yet been found for Sadie. I'm hoping there is someone that can open their heart & home to Sadie. Sadie is a beautiful brown tabby approximately 3 years old. Sadie was living outdoors in a colony of cats when she was trapped. She gave birth to 5 kittens 3 days after coming to my house. Sadie was an excellent mama. She must've had a home at some point because she isn't feral. Sadie loves being petted, playing with wand toys and loves chasing a laser light. She is shy around new people but warms up quickly. She likes my 5-year-old grandson and is fine around my small dog. However, she doesn't like being held or picked up but I think someone who has experience working with shy cats could work wonders with her. I believe Sadie is a real charmer with the potential to be a great companion. Sadie is available for re-homing through Feral Cat Foundation. The sad alternative is to return her to the colony where she had been living. Sadie has been spayed, micro-chipped, tested negative for FIV/leukemia, vaccinated, dewormed, & medicated for fleas.
