A Message from WC Chair, Sharon Kingsley Tatro... As a special town meeting approaches this fall on the topic of a new Elementary school, the Warrant Committee is going to be focusing its time on ensuring a thorough review of all the facts needed to make an informed decision. I would like to encourage the residents of Medfield to watch the meeting recordings from 7/14/21 and 8/19/21 available to view here and on Medfield TV YouTube to get a sense of the breadth and purpose of what we will be doing. The intent is to get answers to all the questions we are hearing asked in the community and are asking ourselves. During the weeks of 8/23, 8/30 and 9/6 we will be conducting meetings with various committees and organizations in town who we have targeted as major stakeholders. All meetings will be open to the public and recorded for viewing on Medfield TV. I would also like to encourage the residents of Medfield to take this opportunity to get engaged in this information gathering process we are undertaking as a committee. The goal is to provide the community with a central repository of all of the facts and we will hold a Warrant Hearing in October to share with the community the facts we have gathered and listen to public input prior to our committee meeting to vote on the upcoming warrant article.
