NORTHPORT, NY — Teachers from the Northport-East Northport School District recently had their teacher orientation, according to the district. They kicked off orientation with a bus ride around the neighborhood as they prepare for the start of the school year, which is set to begin on Sept. 9 for grades 1 through 12 and Sept. 10 for kindergarten.
