WORCESTER, MA — Three tornadoes hit Worcester County Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
All three were EF-0 tornadoes, with the first one touching down in Marlborough with estimated 65 mph winds, touching down at 11:40 a.m., according to the weather service.
The second one hit Bolton around 12:30 p.m. with estimated winds of 60-65 mph and the third happening in Stowe around 1:10 p.m. with estimated winds of 65-70 mph.
The three tornadoes came as Tropical Depression Henri's aftermath swept the eastern part of Massachusetts.
A tornado warning was originally issued for Worcester and Middlesex counties until 1:30 p.m. A second warning was issued for northern Worcester County until 2:15 p.m.

The rating system goes up to EF-5, reserved for the strongest tornadoes with wind gusts of more than 200 mph. EF-0 tornadoes have 65-85 mph winds.
