Ministry in the local church is becoming more complex making it increasingly important we take every opportunity to be equipped for service. Every believer is called to serve, so we want to provide this "Equipping Summit" to equip believers for service in the local church. None of us has arrived. Even if you've been serving in a position for decades, you can always learn and grow. At the Equipping Summit, we will have several different breakout trainings for you to attend: Pastors/Deacons, Church Security, Men's Ministry, Student Ministry, Children Ministry, Sexual Abuse Prevention & Awareness, Women's Ministry/WMU, Evangelism/Apologetics, and Small Groups/Sunday School. Also, we'll be having our Annual Bus Training. To use the Association bus, drivers must go through the training. Many of these trainings will be led by our State Missionaries from the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. They are some of the best trainers in my opinion! I know you'll benefit greatly from their insights on these critical ministry areas. The trainings will occur from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a worship rally at 6 p.m., where we will have Bro. Daniel Wilson, another one of our State missionaries, delivering the message.
