Shipyard and Warehouse Coordinator (Shipyard Competent Person) We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and a proven track record of consistent attendance for a Shipyard Coordinator position. We are looking for someone who is good at working with their hands and who is interested in learning more about the shipyard trades. This position would be good for any one with leadership experience in maintenance and tradesmen crafts. The following and more will be expected from our candidates... Clean Background check Pass pre-employment drug test Valid Driver’s License Have your own reliable transportation Willing to work Overtime and weekends Responsibilities and Duties Will be performing tasks to support crews in our warehouse and shipyard. May be asked to use mechanical tools--needle gun, drills, blast unit, water blast, normal construction hand tools, grinders. Will work in confined spaces, performing different kinds of OSHA related tests. Will need to direct Shipyard assistants and parts runners, keeping time and accuracy of orders as top priorities. Will manage the flow of workers and vendors in and out of our secured shipyard location. Shift will be 12 hours a day, 7 days a week Qualifications and Skills Must be 18 years or older Must be willing to work on/around ships and warehouse Must have a year or more of heavy industrial experience PPE, steel toed BOOTS
