Press release from the Town of Concord: August 26, 2021 UPDATE: Walden Street has reopened Original Message: Please be advised that at approximately 8:00 am this morning, National Grid struck a live gas main while working on the Hubbard Street Gas Main Replacement Project. Concord Police and Fire have responded and along with National Grid have the situation under control. The gas supply is currently on, but may have intermittent interruptions to surrounding neighborhoods throughout the day. At this time, Walden Street is closed from Main Street to Heywood Street/Everett Street and Hubbard Street is closed from Walden Street to Stow Street. Please seek alternate routes to avoid the area.
