Compensation: DOE Employment type: full-time Equipment Operator – Civil Construction Bighorn Excavating LLC – Duvall, WA Seeking experienced Equipment Operators for Civil/Utility work at Bighorn Excavating LLC. The Position: Under general supervision, operates equipment, performs routine maintenance, cleans, and maintains equipment. Essential Functions: Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment. Experience with digging/working around existing utilities. Utilities experience is a HUGE plus. Proficient in the following types of equipment: Excavator, dozer, backhoe, bobcat forklift trencher, roller loader. Candidates must meet the following requirements: * Must have at least 3-5 years recent experience in Construction as an equipment operator, working around utilities, trenching, pipe laying, and sewer, water, storm, and infrastructure placement. * Ability to understand and follow specific oral instructions. * Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings. * Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions. * Maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. * Operate motor vehicles. * Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. * Must have 2 valid forms of ID (driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate, passport) * Must have at least 2 verifiable references.
