RESTON, VA — Every dog has its day. Today is that day. Thursday is International Dog Day. To help celebrate the event, Patch asked readers in Reston to share photos of their precious pups for our special dog-day photo gallery. It was only fair to reach out to dog owners for the holiday since we extended the same invitation to cat owners to celebrate International Cat Day on Aug. 6. He is a very frisky little boy, but very loving to his Mommy. — Leslie Cruz, Reston We adopted Bruno from TSA in San Antonio, Texas on June 23 2020. He is a 3 1/2 year old chocolate lab that was medically retired. Bruno is well trained and loves to play fetch, swim and take long walks.
